Places… to have a place… to belong… to hold… to hold us…
Family, home, community present these places
and within: our room, our house, our land.
The comfort of arriving to home, to our own bed, for a peaceful rest.
And yet, the movement of life never stops… the moment keeps morphing into the next.
The comfort of this moment in our place, will dissipate as we leave and travel and approach the next moment, the next place, the next home, house, or room.
The middle… of what was to what will be. The middle is everywhere, in every form. The anxious, the unknown, the fearful, the lost, the sinking… all are founded in the middle.
Yet, the middle of moments, of letting go’s to grasping new, of what was to what will be… the middle is unavoidable.
Our being is beheld while in the middle. Our being will behold God while in the middle.
And yesterday will stay behind, tomorrow will present ahead; but today, this now, is a middle ground that is calling our being…. stop… open… listen… see… feel…
This moment, this middle ground from was to will be, is the moment of I AM.
