Flowing

Many plans are in a person’s heart, but the Lord’s decree will prevail. _{proverbs 19:21}

We live the given life, and not the planned. _{Wendell Berry}

These two sayings have been following me this week, surprises in the routines.

Yet they resonate the truth of my days lately…

I’ve come to say, that’s the plan, but anything can happen.

Openness and flexibility, an easy flowing with the moment.

This my being is learning, for God’s direction is beyond my grasp.

The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. _{John 3:8}
