Yesterday, a friend admitted to being at rock bottom... physically, emotionally, in non-ending pain. Tears, anguish, sadness prevailed upon her countenance.
Then, a smile… such a smile radiated across her face. Her people, her person, a distant cousin, brought a countenance smiling of joy and love.
Follow the smile… follow the joy… follow the love…
It’s been said that all this: humans, earth, heaven, is because God loves… God wants shared love… God wants intimate love, family… walking together in the cool of the evening, conversing, in the garden.
Our Father, His children… Our Bridegroom, His bride… Our Companion, His temple
Underneath the anguish, the heart desires, always desires. Love… true, embracing, understanding, engaging love. What amazing beings we are… through all that life throws at us, under it all… the desire of love.
As God, so we… his image. As in Heaven, so here on earth… may his kingdom come.
So many complexities, so many wonderings, so many doubts, so much pain… this life is a struggle. Yet today I hear…
follow the smile…
