Our Lady, Notre Dame, struck me on my first trip abroad as a widow.
Beautiful frontal facade in tact and still majestic…
yet behind in the soul of the temple, the damage is seen and is heartbreaking.
The Lady is under construction and we may only hope for a mix of what was and what will be.
